It was a recording stating that the IRS had important updated on Conn taxpayers. Mentioned a call back # but didn't write it down.

SCAM! Do NOT give ANY information out. I am filing a police report on them today. They say that they will be taking you to court and hurting your credit rating. They do know some personal information such as your email or last four of your social. So, do NOT be tricked. They are fake. Check your email, bank records and credit report for any suspicious activity.

Indian male calls me and claims he is from the law office... wants to take me to court. I get numerous calls per day and at my job!!!! I am nervous because they have my social security number, address, and knows where I work (I am a teacher). I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission. I am also going to call their local police department. It is sick how they can scam money, harass you at work, and the kicker is this "lawyer" said F--- you to me when I threatened to report. Any help would be great!

The person called me twice today. The first time they called around 12:30 p.m., and they hung up when I answered. The second time was around 3:30 p.m., and I answered and said "Hello" twice. The caller said "Hello" twice and hung up.

Told me she was putting me in a sweepstakes for a million dollars. When I told her I would not give her a credit card number she hung up on me.

Tired of getting unwanted calls on a newly activated TracFone. Don't know who the call is from and don't care, just quit calling. You didn't call me before, you don't need to call me now on my new phone.

About I owe taxes!

I received several calls from these guys.. When I called back to find out what these guys wanted, I was told that I had an old credit card bill that I never paid. When I looked into it, it turns out that they were right (oops!). I was able to settle my account for half the amount owing.

Im glad i didnt answer, i thought it was a friend who lives abroad but seems like not. I got this call at around 11:30 pm and let it ring because i felt it was too late to be getting calls from an unknown number.

This is CPS - Consumer Portfolio Services. They are an auto loan company.

this number has called 3 times in last two hours....number can not be traced back as a working number...no idea who it is....987 isnt even a real area code

The phone rang twice. I answered it, said Hello twice, but no response at all. Would like to know who it is so I could call them to say don't call anymore.
